The light smartphone called the "ADzero" is created from 4-year-old organically grown bamboo and runs on Google Android. It is half the weight of an iphone and also has a larger screen.

London-based inventor Scott Kieron Woodhouse, a student at Middlesex University, developed the smartphone on his spare time. A technology entrepreneur contacted Woodhouse after spotting his design online, and now the handset is becoming a reality.
